Open in Safari

Navigate to spctr.bruisercybersec.com in Safari on macOS.

Share → Add to Dock

Click the Share button in the toolbar, then select Add to Dock. SPCTR will appear like a native app.

Open in Safari

SPCTR must be opened in Safari to install on iPhone or iPad. Other browsers on iOS don't support PWA install.

Tap the Share Button

Tap the Share button (the box with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen.

Tap "Add to Home Screen"

Scroll down in the share sheet and tap Add to Home Screen. SPCTR will appear on your home screen and launch in full-screen mode.

Open in Chrome

Navigate to spctr.bruisercybersec.com in Chrome on Android.

Install Prompt or Menu

Chrome may show an Install banner at the bottom. If not, tap the three-dot menu (⋮) and select Add to Home screen or Install app.

App Ready

SPCTR appears on your home screen and in your app drawer, with its own icon and full-screen launcher.

Look for the Install Icon

In Chrome or Edge, look for the install icon (⊕) in the address bar on the right side.

Click Install

Click the icon and confirm. SPCTR opens in its own window and is pinned to your taskbar or dock.

If the install button appears at the top of this page, click it to install directly without navigating to the main app.

Firefox PWA Support

Firefox doesn't support PWA install natively on desktop. Use Chrome, Edge, or Brave for the best install experience on desktop.

Bookmark Instead

Add SPCTR to your bookmarks toolbar for quick access: Ctrl+D (Windows/Linux) or ⌘D (macOS).

Android Firefox

On Android, Firefox supports Add to Home Screen via the three-dot menu. SPCTR will run as a standalone app.

What is a PWA? A Progressive Web App runs in your browser engine but looks and behaves like a native app — its own window, works offline for local tools, pinned to your taskbar or home screen. Your vault and TOTP codes use the same AES-256-GCM encryption as the desktop app.

Permissions & Why We Need Them
activeTab — Access only the tab you're viewing. Used to detect login forms and inject credentials. Never runs in background tabs.
storage — Store your encrypted vault locally. All data is AES-256-GCM encrypted before being written — only you can read it.
alarms — Auto-lock the extension after 5 minutes of inactivity.
clipboardWrite — Copy passwords and 2FA codes when you click Copy.
Host access (<all_urls>) — Required to detect login forms and show the autofill icon on any website. No background monitoring or browsing history collection.
Privacy guarantee: The SPCTR extension never tracks browsing history, never transmits page content, and activates only on the tab you're currently viewing. The only outbound connection is to spctr.bruisercybersec.com for Pro sync, which you can opt out of entirely.
